Overview
Gidswap is a crypto exchange brand swap crypto to naira, naira to crypto, crypto to crypto, or just buy crypto with naira. They started out doing everything manually, then launched a website to automate the whole process and make it faster.
The problem: they had no visual identity. No logo, no consistent look. A crypto brand asking people to trust it with money, showing up with nothing to trust.
The Challenge
In crypto, trust is the product. If your brand looks inconsistent or thrown-together, people assume the platform is too and they take their money elsewhere.
Gidswap's biggest gaps:
No logo : nothing to anchor the brand or make it recognizable
No visual consistency : designs varied across platforms and formats, weakening trust
The Approach
Building the brand from zero
I Designed Gidswap's logo from scratch. I first fixed visual anchor the brand ever had. Everything else was built around it. Consistency across every surface
I locked in a color system that held up across dark and light themes, and across every design, social posts, website, videos. Kept it simple and eye-catching rather than over designed, so it would stick in people's minds fast.

Video for trust and clarity
I made a brand intro video built around the new logo a clean first impression for anyone discovering Gidswap. When the v1 website launched, followed up with tutorial unsing motion graphic walking users through exactly how to use the platform, removing the guesswork from a brand new automated flow.
The Results
People started trusting Gidswap more. The brand read as professional instead of homemade. And the colors did their job people recognize Gidswap on sight now, just from the palette, before they even see the logo or name.
